Backend and frontend development of new functionality and support for a professional community social platform to improve communication and collaboration in the security industry:

• Built with Django and Vue.js
• Implemented a versatile user roles and permissions schema
• Integrated with Telegram API for real-time data feeds and content moderation
• Developed a solution for localizing the platform interface into major European languages, merging Vue components with Django internationalization framework
• Implemented an ETL process for automatic translation of user content through integration with Weblate and DeepL

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivered end-to-end features across both frontend and backend, handling everything from the UI to the API and database.
• Performed code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality standards.
• Converted user stories into detailed technical specifications and broke down tasks for efficient development and collaboration.
• Provided complexity and timeframe estimates to ensure timely delivery of features and improvements.
• Worked on complex projects as part of a 5-15 person team, and also delivered solo projects on a smaller scale, handling the entire development lifecycle independently.

Key Achievements:

• Designed and implemented critical features such as the user registration page and user notifications system, encompassing frontend form creation, REST API development, and backend integration.
• Led a frontend transformation by migrating several modules from Django templates to a Vue.js SPA, improving the user experience and performance.
• Refactored the backend architecture, transitioning from a traditional Django MVC setup to an in-house "clean architecture" framework.

Contributed to several NGO initatives:

• Website for a non-profit organization to help people diagnose early signs of dementia (backend developer)
  • Built a GraphQL API based on Django
  • Developed a questionnaire test for users to take and receive personalized medical recommendations
  • Implemented a user test result scoring system with ONNX model for hand drawings validation
• Internal training courses platform for the LizaAlert (volunteer community for seraching-and-rescuing missing persons):
  • Defined an infrastructure framework for the development team: Github Actions CI/CD workflow, Docker and Docker-compose configurations
  • Outlined the common codestyle, provideing lynters and pre-commit configurations

From 2014-2016 as a lead engineer in a newly created task force, I actively participated in opening a new modern full-cycle manufacturing factory in St.Petersburg, dedicated to creating innovative vending machines under an exclusive contract with the leading French vending operator company SELECTA.

With me taking the roles of commissioning engineer lead, as well as international technical support specialist, our team successfully delivered over 1,000 machines, fulfilling a contract est. over €8 mils.

Subsequently, I have taken the responsibilities of Associate Product Manager, developing and delivering solutions for several vending operating companies in France, Spain, Sweden, Saudi Arabia, and South Korea.
